Sunday, May 13, we have many events going on. Among them a program dedicated to Israel.

Paul Friedman, an educator from the organization StandWithUs will be giving a presentation at the Hebrew School at 10:15. StandWithUs is an international nonprofit organization that is dedicated to educating people of all ages about Israel and to combat anti semitism and extremism that can often come up.

We are also doing a project- Plant Israel at Home™. This is a project of the Israel Forever Foundation. Teens and Hebrew School students will get the chance to grow a bit of the beauty of the Land of Israel in their own homes, gardens, and hearts by planting seeds of flowers of Israel.

The next part of the program is Letters of Friendship and Solidarity to the people of Israel. Through this program, students will be able to write to the people of Israel. Whether it’s writing a Lone Soldier, a victim of terror, a Holocaust survivor, or an Israeli with special needs, our students’ warm and caring letters are sure to make a difference.
