Teens begin prayers at 9:30 am, followed by breakfast, and begin the film at 10:30 am, followed by discussion, concluding at 12:00 pm.

With My Whole Broken Heart is a professionally produced and emotionally gripping 45-minute film featuring stories of valiant parents whose children’s lives were claimed by terror and their inspiring responses to their horrific experiences. The documentary also follows the lives of two of the youngest survivors of Auschwitz and Buchenwald who emerged from the darkness and transformed the Jewish landscape.

The film features an interview with Daniel Pearl’s parents. Daniel, a reporter for the Wall Street Journal, was kidnapped and murdered in Karachi, Pakistan; an interview with Sherri Mandel, mother of Kobi Mandell, a Jewish teenager killed by Palestinian terrorists while hiking near his home in the West Bank; and an interview with former Israeli Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau, the youngest survivor of Buchenwald.

This Holocaust Memorial Program will be moderated by Rabbi Jared Viders, separately for adults and teens.
